6/10/2009 - Routermall to Offer 'Free' Cisco Router Configuration Assistance

Beginning in June 2009, Routermall will introduce their Router Configuration Assistance program designed to help customers with post-sales configuration and support. Customers who buy a Cisco router valued at $500 or more are entitled to free configuration assistance from our in-house CCIE. Free Configuration Assistance must be used within two weeks of purchase. Routermall normally charges $150/hr with a 1-hour minimum, but for a limited time, customers will receive 15 minutes free with your qualifying router purchase. After the initial 15-minute session, customers may purchase additional assistance in 15-minute increments for $40 each. Assistance calls lasting over an hour, will be billed at the discounted hourly rate of $150. If this test phase is successful, we'll begin offering configuration assistance, tech support and trouble shooting at the same billable rate for customers whose hardware was NOT purchased at Routermall. You always hear people talking about "Web 2.0". What does it mean? It means taking advantage of your user communities knowledge and experience to make your site better and more useful. Routermall has instituted several new Web 2.0 initiatives in an effort to make our site more useful to you the consumer. Last year, Routermall quietly added a sitewide blog, a place where customers can share info and ask questions of us here at Routermall as well as each other. Now, we've added the ability to review the products you've purchased. Simply click on the "Add Product Review" link on any product page and let us know what you think about your purchase. Your input will help us here at Routermall as well as your fellow customers. We look forward to reading your reviews!

2/29/08 - Routermall Launches New Site to Coincide With "Leap Day"

Every four years February 29 gets added to our calendar to correct for Earth's time for circling the Sun being a fraction more than 365 days. For those of you thinking the change was overdue (and we agree!), it seemed befitting that our metamorphosis should coincide with this periodic, albeit infrequent occurence.

The staff at Routermall hopes you appreciate the fact that the site has more than one color now, although in comparison with the previous version, it may now require sunglasses. The goal was to create a streamlined interface that was easier to navigate. If you notice any issues or bad links (hey, stuff happens), please let us know and we'll get it taken care of. In the meantime, take a look, let us know what you think (good and bad) and buy more stuff!

12/25/07 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Routermall.com!

As another year draws to a close, everyone here are Routermall would like to extend our sincerest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a properous new year. We want all our customers to continue and grow so they need more routers and switches! Ok, well thats partly true but, the fact is we hope all our customers encounter continued success in the industry for the coming year. 2007 has been great and we look forward to serving you throughout 2008!

3/17/07 - Wireless Access Point Requests

Due to popular demand, Routermall.com now carries an expanded series of wireless access points. Previously overpriced and hard to find, we were challenged to successfully stock and quickly source these very desirable Cisco access points. However, after many requests for pricing and inventory information we have endeavored to begin stocking several additional models. Our selection is currently based on the most popular bundles and can be found in the newly expanded Wireless section. As always, if you are interested in a router or switch, either individually or an entire Cisco, Juniper, or Extreme Networks product line that is not currently found on our site, please let us know. We have many products available to us on a semi-regular basis that are not in stock frequently enough to put on the site but can often be found in just a day or two. If we get enough requests, we will bring quantities of them into our warehouse and add them to the online store.

So thanks to everyone who made their needs known. And please buy some wireless access points the first chance you get!
